New stats for Seattle show that things are slightly – very slightly – slower than last January.
Residential pending sales: 411 this January, 414 last January.
Condominium pending sales: 173 this January, 184 last January.
The number of active listings has dropped substantially – to 612 from 748 in residential, 321 from 524 in condominiums. This means that buyers have 18% fewer choices among houses, and 1/3 fewer choices in the condominium market.
